Delivering my local plan for Kingsley
As a proud resident of Woodvale, where I live with my wife and our three young children, I am deeply connected to the everyday experiences and aspirations of our community.
Living and working alongside you gives me a firsthand understanding of the challenges we face and the hopes we share for a better future.
As part of the Mettam Liberal Team, I will deliver real solutions for Kingsley, driven by the right priorities to build a better future.
Meeting so many locals during this campaign has been a privilege, and your feedback has shaped my local plan.

I am committed to securing the future of Woodvale Secondary College by advocating for a dedicated Performing Arts Centre.
For years, the school’s specialist Music and Drama programs have been severely limited by a lack of proper facilities. Parents and teachers have been left frustrated by the silence from their current Labor member for the past eight years.
That’s why I have acted, presenting an e-petition with over 800 signatures to Parliament. I’m proud to have secured $10 million in funding for the WA Liberals to deliver a state-of-the-art centre that will support our students and their creative futures.
WOODVALE

For years, residents along Twickenham Drive in Kingsley have been living with increased noise pollution due to the construction of the noise wall along the Mitchell Freeway.
While the intention was to reduce noise, changes to the design have had the opposite effect, making the situation worse for local families.
I’ve listened to your concerns and have worked closely with the community to push for solutions. I will continue to hold the WA Government accountable and ensure that proper action is taken to improve the situation, reducing the noise pollution affecting Kingsley residents for good.
KINGSLEY

Warwick Stadium is a vital community asset, serving thousands of families each week, but it’s struggling to meet
growing demand.
Over 900 young people are on a waiting list to play basketball because we simply don’t have enough courts. The facilities are outdated, with toilets and changing rooms that are more than 30 years old and little to no cooling.
As your local representative, I’ve fought hard for the funding necessary to expand the stadium, and a Mettam Liberal Government will commit $15 million to build three new basketball courts, ensuring our kids have the opportunities they deserve.
GREENWOOD

The proposed high-rise development in Warwick threatens to overwhelm our already stretched infrastructure.
The plan could add up to 2,000 new residents to our community without any consideration for the strain it will place on our schools, roads, or local services. I oppose this development unless a comprehensive precinct plan is put in place.
It’s crucial that the community has a say before any approval is given, which is why I’m
advocating for proper consultation with residents. I will continue to stand up for Warwick and fight for sensible planning that puts our community first.
WARWICK

Erindale Road is a major access route for residents in Warwick and Hamersley, yet the intersection with Reid Highway has become a dangerous bottleneck, especially during peak hours.
Local families are telling me that the congestion is not only frustrating, but unsafe. I’ve heard your concerns, and I’m
determined to make Erindale Road safer. I’m pushing for funding to upgrade the road and improve traffic flow, working closely with the City of Stirling and the community to ensure that the solution meets our needs and addresses the safety issues at this critical intersection.
HAMERSLEY

Lake Yellagonga is underutilised because it lacks the amenities needed to make it a welcoming space for the community.
As your local Liberal candidate, I believe we can do more to make this natural wonder accessible to everyone. I’m fighting for anupgrade to the heritage walk trail, including better signage, new paths, Aboriginal artwork, and improved facilities like picnic areas and benches.
Not only will this create a stronger connection between our community and the environment, but it will also improve physical and mental wellbeing for residents. If a MettamLiberal government is elected, we’ll commit $500,000 to make it happen.
